Rebecca Webber, Attorney at Law
Rebecca became an attorney in order to achieve justice for regular people like her family and friends who are harmed by powerful governments and corporations. Rebecca chose to join Hendler Lyons Flores because she experienced the kindness and efficacy of the firm’s attorneys and staff when they successfully represented her and her family.
Before joining Hendler Lyons Flores, Rebecca worked as a legal aid lawyer and public defender at Texas RioGrande Legal Aid and as a civil rights attorney at the Texas Fair Defense Project. She has also worked at Public Citizen Litigation Group, at National Public Radio, in the Texas House of Representatives, and for Congressman Lloyd Doggett.
Rebecca grew up in Austin and attended the University of Texas as an undergraduate. At Yale Law School she was on the Yale Law Journal and worked in the Advocacy for Children and Youth, Prison Legal Services, and Criminal Defense clinics. She graduated from Yale Law School in 2007. Rebecca enjoys volunteering with CASA of Travis County in her free time.
